Hello! My name is Wendy Wallace and I am very excited to be teaching mathematics and physics at TCHS. I have taught mathematics at both the high school and college level and science at the high school level. After graduating from Atwood-Hammond High School, I attended the University of Illinois and received my Bachelor of Science in Engineering. However, while volunteering with Camp Granada, a camp for 8-16 year olds who live with type 1 diabetes, I discovered my passion. I returned to school and received my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from Illinois State University in 2002.
While teaching I returned to school two more times receiving my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in digital teaching and learning from the American College of Education in 2015 and my Masters Graduate Certificate in Mathematics from Indiana University East in 2017.
I have been married to my husband, Jason, since 1999. We moved to Tuscola in 2016 and have three children who attend Tuscola CUSD #301 schools. We love to travel, attend our kid's activities, and spend time with family and friends.
